There are times when we seek to understand ourselves more deeply. Sometimes, a particular period in our lives raises questions, shifts our bearings, or simply invites us to see things differently.
An astrology session offers a way to explore these questions through your birth chart and the symbolic language of astrology.
Your chart is not there to define you, tell you what will happen, or make decisions for you. It becomes a space for reflection and dialogue, allowing connections to emerge between different dimensions of your experience and opening the way to new understanding.

BRINGING TOGETHER WHAT ONCE SEEMED SEPARATE
We rarely experience ourselves as a perfectly coherent whole. Some parts of us may feel easy to recognise, while others can seem contradictory, difficult to understand, or only find their place at certain moments in our lives.
The birth chart offers a symbolic representation of this complexity.
By bringing its different dimensions into conversation with your own experience, the session can help you recognise some of the threads running through your story, shed light on inner tensions, rediscover resources, or make room for aspects of yourself that may have felt less familiar until now.
The aim is not to find in the chart a definitive explanation of who you are.
It is to open up a space where what you are experiencing can be seen from different perspectives and begin to take on a new coherence.
One astrology, different ways.
Your intention shapes where we begin
An astrology session does not always begin with the same intention.
You may wish to discover your birth chart and deepen your understanding of yourself. You may be going through a particular period in your life and want to better understand what is shifting, or you may wish to reflect on the year opening up before you.
At Alkymissia, these different intentions currently take the form of three types of astrology session.
Birth Chart Reading
A birth chart reading offers an in-depth exploration of your natal chart.
It brings together different dimensions of your personality, helping you recognise both your resources and your inner tensions, and shed light on some of the threads that shape the way you experience and engage with the world.
The aim is not to create a portrait of who you are, but to offer you a language through which you can recognise and question what resonates with your own experience.
Transits
Transits connect your birth chart with the current movements of the planets.
The session allows us to explore the dynamics at work during a particular period of your life: what may be shifting, being called into question, asking for greater attention, or seeking a new form of expression.
The aim is not to predict future events, but to offer another perspective on this moment in your life and the questions it may raise.
Solar Return
A solar return marks the moment each year when the Sun returns to its natal position, offering a symbolic map of the cycle between one birthday and the next.
Its interpretation highlights the themes, dynamics and areas of life that may take on particular significance during this period.
It is not intended as a prediction of what will happen, but as a way of consciously engaging with the new cycle as it begins.
The birth chart as a starting point
The birth chart provides the foundation for any astrological reading.
Transits and solar returns become meaningful when considered in relation to your birth chart. They reveal how the movements of a particular period or a new cycle interact with the dynamics that are uniquely yours.
For this reason, transit and solar return sessions are available to those who have already had a birth chart reading with me.
This first session gives us a shared language and common reference points that future sessions can build upon.
What to expect from an astrology session
A conversation around your chart
An astrology session is not about receiving an interpretation of your chart while you simply listen.
We begin by talking about what brings you here, the questions you have and what you would like to explore. Your chart is then introduced gradually, allowing its astrological symbols to enter into dialogue with your own experience.
You remain fully involved in the reading: what you recognise, what gives you pause, the connections you make and the nuances you bring all contribute to the understanding that takes shape between us.
Towards the end, we return to the main threads that have emerged. Some insights may come immediately; others may continue to resonate and deepen after the session.
Choose your astrology session
All sessions are individual and take place online via Zoom. No prior knowledge of astrology is required: everything you need to understand the reading will be explained gradually as we work together.
Birth Chart Reading
This session includes an in-depth preparation of your chart, our meeting on Zoom, an audio recording, as well as two or three follow-up questions sent to you afterwards.
To prepare your chart, I will need your date, exact time and place of birth. Whenever possible, I recommend checking the time recorded on your birth certificate.
Transit Reading
This session includes a prior analysis of the main astrological dynamics active during this period of your life, our meeting on Zoom and an audio recording.
This session is available to those who have already had a birth chart reading with me.
When booking, you can also mention a particular theme or question you would like to focus on.
Solar Return
A solar return session involves two stages of preparation: first, I study the solar return as a chart in its own right; I then consider it alongside your birth chart to identify and prioritise the key dynamics of the cycle ahead. The fee reflects the depth of this work carried out before we meet.
This session is available to those who have already had a birth chart reading with me.
We meet on Zoom, and you will receive an audio recording of the session.
It can be scheduled from around one month before to two months after your birthday. The weeks leading up to your birthday are, however, the ideal time to engage consciously with the cycle ahead.
Your audio recording will be sent to you within 48 hours and will remain available to download for 30 days.
Each session is complete in itself. There is no expectation to book another session or continue with ongoing support afterwards.
